The Ohio Brush Creek is a 93 km long right tributary of the Ohio River in the southern US state of Ohio . It drains a catchment area of 1,127 square kilometers and is part of the river system of the Mississippi River . It drains into the Gulf of Mexico via the Ohio River and Mississippi River .

The Ohio Brush Creek rises about two miles southwest of the town of New Market in southeast Highland County . It then flows in a generally southerly direction through Adams County and joins the Ohio River 3 miles upstream from Concord. Its main tributaries are the 35 km long West Fork and the 28 km long Baker Fork .

Ohio Brush Creek has had several names throughout its history, according to the Geographic Names Information System , including Brush Creek , Elk Creek, and Little Scioto River .
