Ojuunbilegiin Pürewbaatar

Ojuunbilegiin Pürewbaatar (born November 23, 1973 ) is a former Mongolian wrestler .

He reached at the World Championships in 1994 in freestyle eighth in the class kg to 52nd At the Asian Championships in 1997 he won the gold medal in the class up to 58 kg. In 1998 he finished ninth at the 1998 World Championships and won silver at the Asian Games . In 2000 he took part in the Olympic Games . In Sydney he reached fifth place. However, he was tested positive for furosemide during the doping control and was disqualified.

At the World Championships 2001 Ojuunbilegiin Pürewbaatar could win silver. In 2002 he became vice world champion again , now in the class up to 60 kg. And at the Asian Games in 2002 he won the gold medal. In 2004 he took part in his second Olympic Games in Athens , where he finished 13th. At the 2005 World Championships , he was fifth.
