Olaf Aakrann
Olaf Aakrann (born September 3, 1856 in Elverum , † May 1, 1904 in Kongsvinger ) was a Norwegian painter .
He attended the technical school in Gothenburg , learned the professions of engineer and lithographer and then took painting lessons from Erik Werenskiold and Gerhard Munthe in Christiania (now Oslo ) around 1890 . Finally, from 1893 to 1896, he attended Kristian Zahrtmann's painting school in Copenhagen . He also undertook trips abroad for his further training, which took him to Vienna , Berlin and, in 1898, to Paris . He worked particularly as a landscape painter.
