Olaf Feldmann (born May 9, 1937 in Elbing ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

In 1957 Feldmann graduated from high school, then he studied law and political science in Freiburg im Breisgau , took his first state law examination in 1961 and was then assistant and working group leader at the University of Freiburg, where he completed his doctorate and assessor examination in 1969 . From 1967 to 1973 he worked as an independent businessman , in 1973 he became managing director of the Hotel and Restaurant Association Baden-Württemberg. From 1981 to 1990 he was a member of the Advisory Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation . Feldmann is still active as a curator at the Baden-Baden Eberhard Schöck Foundation .

Political offices

In 1972 Feldmann joined the FDP. From 1985 to 1997 he was a member of the Baden-Württemberg State Executive and from 1990 to 1995 the National Executive . From 1975 he was a city councilor in Baden-Baden . Feldmann joined the German Bundestag on January 29, 1981, and was a member of the German Bundestag until 1998. He was tourism and disarmament policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group as well as deputy chairman of the sports committee.
