Oldřich Pařízek (born March 24, 1972 in Mladá Boleslav ) is a former Czech football goalkeeper .

Career

Pařízek started playing football in Horky nad Jizerou , a small community not far from his native Mladá Boleslav. The goalkeeper did his military service at VTJ Slaný and then played for FK Jablonec . In 1993 Pařízek moved to Viktoria Žižkov in the 1st Czech league. There he was initially a replacement for Jaromír Blažek . In the 1994/95 season he alternated with Juraj Šimurka and came on twelve missions. This constellation was repeated in the following season, but this time Pařízek came with 19 games more often than Šimurka. Even three goalkeepers competed for the place in the goal of Prague in 1996/97, Pařízek stood between the posts seven times. In the 1997/98 season Pařízek prevailed and played all first round matches.

During the winter break he moved to the then Belgian first division club Royal Antwerp . The Czech was unable to prevent the traditional club from relegating. For the next two years Pařízek was number one in goal for Belgium's oldest football club. In the summer of 2000 Royal Antwerp returned to the 1st division , Pařízek played 19 league games for his club in the 2000/01 season. In the following year he was only used in two friendlies and returned to the Czech Republic in mid-2002.

Pařízek was signed by Marila Příbram as number two. Without having played a game, the club separated from him during the 2002/03 winter break. Pařízek then played in the third Czech division for the Prague team Admira / Slavoj and in autumn 2003 for FK Semily. In January 2004 he returned to Příbram . At first only a replacement, he was able to fight for a regular place in spring 2005. In the seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07 he was able to build on his form from the late 1990s, but not prevent his club's relegation from the Gambrinus League .

Pařízek moved to his former club and first division promoted Viktoria Žižkov, where he started the season as number one. After conceding five goals in the first three games of the season, coach Stanislav Griga made a goalkeeper change and put Pařízek on the bench. After the 2007/08 season, Pařízek ended his career.
