Old New Ballads Blues is a 2006 studio album by Irish blues-rock and hard-rock guitarist and singer Gary Moore . It includes some reinterpretations of blues pieces by well-known blues musicians and Moore's own blues- rock- style compositions .

The ballad Midnight Blues is a slightly slower re-recording of the Moore title already recorded on the album Still Got The Blues . Also from this older album comes the new version of the well-known blues classic All Your Love , which is played much less brutally and a little slower. Another melodic and slow ballad in typical Moore style is the new piece Gonna Rain Today . This also applies to the number Flesh And Blood , which can be seen as a pop ballad. Even the longest track on the album at 9 minutes, No Reason To Cry , is a soulful, slow ballad with a long guitar solo, which increases over several passages over the thematic structure. Also, You Know My Love is interpreted as a ballad and has a longer, heavy guitar solo on. Ain't Nobody, on the other hand, is a hard rock- based original composition. Cut It Out is a purely instrumental piece in the blues rock style, played with Moore-typical crashing guitar riffs. The blues number Done Somebody Wrong is presented with clear Hard Rock -based riffs , again typical for Gary Moore .
