Oleg Georgievich Fjodossejew
Oleg Georgijewitsch Fjodosejew ( Russian Олег Георгиевич Фёдосеев , English transcription Oleg Fyodoseyev ; born June 4, 1936 in Moscow , † June 14, 2001 ) was a Soviet long and three jumper .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 and at the European Athletics Championships in Stockholm in 1958 , he was eighth in the long jump.
In 1959 he set a world record in the triple jump with 16.70 m and won the bronze medal at the EM in 1962 in Belgrade. In 1964 he was the Soviet indoor champion in the same discipline and won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo with 16.58 m, behind Poland's Józef Szmidt and ahead of his compatriot Viktor Kravchenko (16.57 m).
