Oleg Evgenjewitsch Grigoryev (born December 6, 1943 in Vologda , † April 30, 1992 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian writer and painter.

Life

Oleg Grigoryev's parents were evacuated from Leningrad after the German attack on the Soviet Union . He grew up in Leningrad and began to write as a schoolboy. He attended a branch of the Leningrad Art School, but had school difficulties due to personal and political insubordination. He then worked as an unskilled worker in various employment relationships. His first publication of a volume of children's poems was in 1971. He was sentenced to two years of industrial hard labor for drunkenness, was released early, but resumed his unsteady lifestyle. A second volume of children's poems The Growth Vitamin was printed in 1981, but was also criticized by the state. Inclusion in the Writers' Union , which is a financial and social security would have been guaranteed to him by the apparatchiks of the Association, including Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov , denied. In 1986 a children's opera was composed based on his subjects. In 1989 he was returned to custody . He was only accepted into the Writers' Union in 1991. Grigoryev's third children's book, The Speaking Raven , was published in 1989 during perestroika and was widely cited. Another volume of poems was published posthumously in 1994.
