Oleksandr Krykun ( Ukrainian Олександр Крикун ; born March 1, 1968 in Leipzig ) is a former Ukrainian hammer thrower .
Krykun took part in three Summer Olympic Games ( 1996 in Atlanta , 2000 in Sydney , 2004 in Athens ) and in four World Championships ( 1995 in Gothenburg , 1997 in Athens , 2001 in Edmonton , 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis ).
Krykun celebrated his greatest success by winning the bronze medal at the Atlanta Games, when he was only surpassed by Hungary's Balázs Kiss (81.24 m) and the American Lance Deal (81.12 m) with 80.03 meters .
Krykun set his best performance in 1991 with 81.66 meters.
Krykun is 1.94 m tall and weighed 110 kg at competition times.
