Oleksandriwka ( Ukrainian Олександрівка ; Russian Александровка Alexandrowka ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Kharkiv with about 680 inhabitants (2001).
The village was founded in 1861 under the name Basylewskyj ( Базилевський ) and received its current name in 1910.
Oleksandriwka is the administrative center of the same, 46 square kilometer district municipality in the south of Rayon walky to the still villages Korsunowe ( Корсунове , ⊙ ) with about 30 population, Ridkodub ( Рідкодуб , ⊙ ) with about 80 inhabitants and Sosnivka ( Соснівка , ⊙ ) with about 50 inhabitants.
The village is situated at an altitude of 175 m on the banks of Tschutiwka ( Чутівка ), a 14 km long left tributary of the Kolomak , 21 km southeast of the Rajonzentrum Walky and 75 km southeast of the Oblastzentrum Kharkiv . The M 03 trunk road runs nine kilometers north of the village .
