Oliver Glöden (born May 14, 1978 in Schwedt ) is a German soccer player .
Career
He gained fame among other things through his height of 2.03 meters, making Oliver Glöden one of the greatest players in German professional football . He mainly plays in the central midfield.
In his youth he played for SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug , SC Staaken and Spandauer BC 06 . In 1997 he moved to Spandauer SV , where he gained his first experience in the Regionalliga Nordost . After a year he moved to the second team from Hertha BSC . After further positions at VfB Lübeck and SC Paderborn 07 , he went to Karlsruher SC in 2003 in the 2nd Bundesliga. There he was only used once, so that he moved back to the regional league for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt during the winter break of the 2003/04 season. With the Thuringians he made the promotion and played 21 second division games in the following season. After the immediate relegation, he moved to Kickers Emden , where he immediately became a top performer and captain. From the 2006/07 season he was under contract with the northern regional division Rot Weiss Ahlen , for which he played 38 games and scored three goals. After moving to SC Roland Beckum in 2008, SC Verl joined the Regionalliga West in March 2009 . In the 2009/10 season Glöden played for the district division VfL Sassenberg. After the season he joined the regional league team Preußen Münster , with whom he rose to the third division at the end of the season .
On July 3, 2011, he was presented as a new addition to Rot Weiss Ahlen. After three years, he returned to the now only fifth-class NRW league team. On January 19, 2012, Glöden switched to Hammer SpVg . Since July 2014, Glöden has been the player-coach of the district division Warendorfer SU . In total, he was used in 22 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and in 181 games in the Regionalliga, scoring 21 goals.
After his professional career, Oliver Glöden began training as an educator. He works in a kindergarten in Ahlen .
