Oliver Kircher

Oliver Kircher (born August 15, 1970 ) is a German expert on urban pop culture .

Life

Oliver Kircher is a cook and former graffiti artist. Together with Oliver Korittke and Niklas Beckert, Kircher opened the “Museum for Urban Pop Culture Generation 13 ” in the Hamburger Hof in Berlin-Mitte at the end of 2012 , in which a large collection of sneakers, vintage toys and action figures from the past 30 years was shown . Among other things, Kircher cooked in the adjoining café. The following year the museum filed for bankruptcy.

Kircher gained fame throughout Germany through his appearances in the first season of the ZDF series Bares for Rares , in which, as a passionate collector, art expert and expert on urban pop culture, he primarily assessed the value of objects from the 1960s to 1980s.
