The last Olympic champions were Charlotte Cooper and Reginald Doherty from the 1900 Games , where only one competition was held in mixed. The final was played by Dora Köring with Heinrich Schomburgk and Sigrid Fick with Gunnar Setterwall , who won the first in two sets. The bronze medal was given to the only losing pairing in the semifinals - Marguerite Broquedis and Albert Canet .
