The Omega Sorg GmbH (proper spelling OMEGA Sorg ) is a German company in the food wholesaler headquartered in Essingen in Aalen .
In addition to its headquarters, the company also has branches in Stuttgart , Nuremberg and Waldheim and is a member of the Germany-wide service association .
The range of goods includes 48,000 food and non-food items in the catering , hotel and communal catering sectors .
history
In 1966, Hans Sorg took over a butcher's shop, the operation of which was transferred to Omega -kauf H. Sorg GmbH in 1982. From 1994 the regional headquarters ran under Omega Sorg GmbH in Aalen as a wholesale company for the food industry.
In 2002 Omega Sorg GmbH took over the entire Langnese product range from Unilever as a sales partner in its product range.
In 2005 the company took over the bulk consumer business of Feinkost Böhm in Stuttgart , thereby expanding its sales area and customer base in Baden-Württemberg as well as its range of goods.
Sales area and distribution
Sales are carried out by sales representatives and by telephone salespeople who look after major consumer customers from the federal states of Baden-Württemberg , Bavaria and Saxony from the four locations . Alternatively, bulk consumers also have the option of ordering goods via an online shop .
Service sector
The company offers large-scale kitchen planning including maintenance through its own equipment service.
