Ontario is a city in Malheur County in the US state of Oregon .

Ontario is located at the confluence of the Malheur River and the Snake River in northern Malheur County on the Idaho border , about 25 kilometers east of County Seat Vale , at an altitude of 656 meters. Interstate 84 runs east of the city .
The city has an area of 13.38 km², excluding land.
Demographics
According to the United States Census 2010 , Ontario had a population of 11,366, of which 5,371 men and 5,995 women. 3798 inhabitants were under 20 years old, 1688 were 65 or older.
