Open'er Festival

The Open'er Festival is an open air festival in Gdynia , Poland .

The festival took place for the first time in 2002 with a one-day event on the grounds of the Tor Stegny speed skating rink in Warsaw , headlining The Chemical Brothers . In 2003 the company moved to Gdynia, initially to the Skwer Kościuszki park area . After an extension to two days, acts like Pink , Massive Attack or Snoop Dogg could be welcomed. In 2006, due to lack of space, the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport was relocated to a three-day and from 2009 four-day event. They expanded to three, later four stages. Art exhibitions and theater have also been taking place in the local hangar since 2012. In total, at least 90,000 spectators are expected each year.
