The small spotted ragwort ( Ophrys holoserica subsp. Parvimaculata (O.Danesch & E. Danesch) O.Danesch & E. Danesch ) is a subspecies in the genus of the ragwurzen ( Ophrys ) that flowers from April to May. A synonym is Ophrys parvimaculata (O.Danesch & E. Danesch) Paulus & Gack .
features
This herbaceous perennial plant reaches heights of between 10 and 35 cm. The inflorescence consists of two to seven flowers . The corolla and the hairy sepals appear uniformly yellow to green, rarely light pink. The slightly arched and hairy lip is dark brown in color. The mark is very simple and often appears H-shaped.
Location and distribution
This orchid can be found on rough lawns , in downy oak forests and bushes and rarely in pine forests up to a maximum height of 600 m . The distribution area is in the south of Italy , where the clan occurs at altitudes between 25 and 450 meters above sea level.
