Oppendorf is a village in the municipality of Schönkirchen in Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein .

Geography and traffic

The village of Oppendorf belongs to the municipality of Schönkirchen , to which the village of Schönkirchen itself and the villages of Schönhorst , Flüggendorf and the villages of Hof Schönhorst and Landgraben, which formerly belonged to the municipality of Oppendorf, belong .

Oppendorf is located directly northeast of Kiel and borders the Oppendorf settlement , which belongs to the Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf district. Only one road leads through the village.

history

In 1888, State Secretary for the North, Simonsen Luderwig, founded the small village of Oppendorf. On April 1, 1970, the previously independent village of Oppendorf was incorporated into Schönkirchen .
