Oral Baighonysuly Muchamedschanow ( Kazakh Орал Байғонысұлы Мұхамеджанов , Russian Урал Байгунсович Мухамеджанов * 11. November 1948 in Kustanai , Kazakhstan SSR ; † 15. October 2013 in Astana (since 2019 only Sultan) , Kazakhstan ) was a Kazakh politician .

Life

Oral Muchamedschanow was born in Kustanai in 1948 . He graduated from the Novosibirsk Trade Institute in 1971, and also graduated from the Alma-Ata party college in 1980 .

After graduating from the commercial institute, he first worked in a cloth factory in his hometown of Kustanai. From 1975 to 1992 he held various positions in the Komsomol and party committees of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, as well as in the regional council of people's deputies of Turgai Oblast . After Kazakhstan gained independence in 1992, he was appointed head of the Amangeldi County Administration in the Torghai Area. From 1994 he was a member of the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan and deputy chairman of the Committee on Economic Reforms. Between 1995 and 1997 he was the head of the Department for Social and Cultural Development of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He then worked in the administration of the President of Kazakhstan. After the parliamentary elections in September 2004 , he was elected as a member of the Mäschilis , where he was elected chairman on November 2nd. After the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was re-elected to parliament and was initially a member of the Committee on Agriculture . On October 13, 2008 he was re-elected chairman of the Mäschilis, where he replaced Aslan Mussin as chairman. In the election in January 2012 he was also elected to parliament again, and this time was a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security.

He died on October 13, 2013 in Astana (Nur-Sultan since 2019) .

Oral Muchamedschanow was married to Sholpan Muchamedschanowa. The two had three children.
