Aslan Jesbolajuly Mussin ( Kazakh Аслан Есболайұлы Мусин , Russian Аслан Еспулаевич Мусин Aslan Jesbolajewitsch Mussin ; born January 2, 1954 in Bestamak, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician .

Life

Aslan Mussin was born in 1954 in the village of Bestamak in the Aqtöbe area. He graduated from the Institute of Economics in Alma-Ata and graduated in 1975 with a degree in economics .

From June to December 1994 he was initially deputy head of the area administration of the Aqtöbe area and also head of the regional economic department. From September 1995 he then held the post of Äkim (governor) of the Aqtöbe area. On April 3, 2002 he was appointed Äkim of the neighboring Atyrau region . Subsequently, on October 4, 2006, he became a member of the Kazakh government as Minister of Economy and Budgeting, and from January 2007 he was also Deputy Prime Minister. He was dismissed from his ministerial post in August 2007 but was still deputy prime minister. After the Kazakh parliamentary elections in August 2007, he was elected chairman for the Nur Otan party in the Mäschilis and at the September 2nd session. In October 2013, Mussin was appointed head of the presidential administration. After about four years in this post, in September 2012 he became chairman of the Audit Committee for the control of the state budget. From March 4, 2014 to January 4, 2017, he was Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Croatia .
