Orange Walk is one of six administrative districts (Districts) in Belize ( Central America ) and is located in the northwest of the country.
The Orange Walk district has around 46,000 inhabitants (2006 calculation).
The district's capital is Orange Walk Town , about 90 kilometers north of Belize City . Other towns and villages in Orange Walk include Carmelita , Guinea Grass Town , San Estevan , San Jose , San Pablo , Shipyard , Indian Church , San Carlos and Trial Farm .

Orange Walk is home to the ancient Mayan ruins of Lamanai , one of the largest Mayan sites in Belize. The district is also known for its high diversity of birds. It is one of the most bird-rich regions on earth.
