The Hohenweiler local chapel , also known as the Herz Jesu local chapel , is a chapel in Hohenweiler , a district of the market town of Pleinfeld ( Bavaria ). The building with the postal address Hohenweiler 40 is registered under the monument number D-5-77-161-69 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list.

The chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart is in the middle of the village on the main road at an altitude of 403 meters above sea ​​level . It was built in 1870 by the local community from sandstone blocks. The small village church is covered with a gable roof and has a ridge turret . From the equipment in the interior are the figure of Christ with a crown of thorns and the gilded framing that are carved from one piece of wood, worth mentioning.
