Shack-Harris has participated in prestigious live tournaments since 2010 .

Shack-Harris was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at the end of June 2011 and made the money in a tournament in a mixed variant of Omaha and Seven Card Stud Hi / Lo . A year later, he made his first final table and cashed a total of three times. In the WSOP 2014 Shack-Harris won a tournament in Pot Limit Omaha and received his first bracelet and over 200,000 US dollars prize money. Then he reached three more final tables in the main tournament series, u. a. at the Poker Player's Championship , and a sixth place at the WSOP Asia Pacific, which was held in Melbourne in October 2014 . Because of these achievements, he finished second behind George Danzer in the WSOP Player of the Year ranking and was named Breakout Player of the Year at the American Poker Awards in Beverly Hills in February 2015 . At the World Series of Poker 2016 , Shack-Harris secured his second bracelet and almost $ 900,000 in prize money by winning the 8-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha Championship . The end of June 2018, he finished in the Pot Limit Omaha Championship of the World Series of Poker in 2018 to third place for more than 430,000 dollars in prize money.
