Elofsson, who starts for Landskrona SC, took part in the European Cup for the first time in Jyväskylä in March 2015 and finished 35th in the Moguls competition. At the 2016 Junior World Championships in Åre , he took 16th place in the Dual Moguls and 14th place in the Moguls. In the 2016/17 season he won his first European Cup victory at the Moguls in Gaissau and at the end of the season he took third place in the Moguls discipline. At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he came 37th in the Moguls and seventh in the Dual Moguls, and at the 2017 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada on 47th place in the Moguls and 40th in the dual moguls. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he made his debut in the World Cup in Ruka , which he finished in 49th place in the Moguls. This was followed by seven victories and a third place in the European Cup and thus won the Moguls discipline. In the following season, which he finished in 11th place in the Moguls World Cup, he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the Dual Moguls in Thaiwoo . At the season highlight, the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2019 in Park City , he finished 21st in the Moguls and tenth in the Dual Moguls. In the 2019/20 season, he made it into the top ten five times in ten World Cup starts and thus achieved ninth place in the Moguls World Cup.
His older brother Felix is also active as a freestyle skier.
