Easter Church (Schwarza)
The Protestant-Lutheran listed Easter Church is in Schwarza , a municipality in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district of Thuringia . The parish Schwarza belongs to the parish area Viernau in Kirchenkreis Henneberger Land of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

A Gothic parish church is mentioned in a document as early as 1498. The hall church has its steeple gable constantly in the east, an inscription mentions the year 1520 for its emergence. After the nave was demolished due to dilapidation , it was rebuilt in 1785–1788. The church tower was also renewed. The church was rebuilt in the mid-1960s. The galleries have been removed. The portal was originally in the west, now it is in the church tower. In 1968 the church was consecrated again.
