The Ostry Wierch is a mountain in the Polish Middle Pieninen , a mountain range of the Pieninen , with 851 m. above sea level in the Trzy Korony massif . The summit is about 400 meters above the Dunajec valley .
Location and surroundings
The Ostry Wierch is located in the main ridge of the Pieninen. To the south of the summit is the Dunajec Gorge , to the north is the Krośnica Valley .
etymology
The Polish name Ostry Wierch comes from the shape of the summit and can be translated as Sharp summit .
tourism
The summit can be easily reached from all surrounding villages on marked hiking trails.

Marked routes to the summit lead from Szczawnica and Czorsztyn :
- ▬ the blue ridge trail from Czorsztyn over the Czorsztyn Pienines and the Przełęcz Szopka mountain passas well as the summit of the Trzy Korony up the mountain and further into the Pieninki and down to the Dunajec riverto the Nowy Przewóz crossingto Szczawnica .
