Beatification process

After his death, Othon Motta was buried in the crypt of the Santo Antônio Cathedral in Campanha. Because of the continued veneration of the faithful and the call to a holy life, the diocese of Campanha opened the process for the beatification of Mottas in 2016 . To this end, in November 2016 his remains were seen in canonical form and reburied in the interior of the cathedral.
