Ottavio De Liva (born June 10, 1911 in Udine , Italy , † August 23, 1965 in Jakarta , Indonesia ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Ottavio De Liva received after studying philosophy and Catholic theology on July 8, 1934 by the Archbishop of Udine , Giuseppe Nogara , the sacrament of priestly ordination for the Archdiocese of Udine .

On April 18, 1962, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Heliopolis in Phenicia and ordered him to Apostolic Internuncio in Indonesia . The Archbishop of Vienna , Franz Cardinal König , donated him episcopal consecration on May 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Udine, Giuseppe Zaffonato , and the official in the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop Lino Zanini .

Ottavio De Liva attended the second and third sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
