The Wüstenacker Siefen is a small Siefen in the southern urban area of Wuppertal .

The Siefen is an orographically right tributary of the Saalbach and is 185 meters long according to the Lower Water Authority of the city of Wuppertal. It only carries water at times and rises in a mixed forest of birch , oak , alder and ash that borders a spruce plot. On its run, it passes under a path that runs in the Saalbachtal valley .

The source of the Wüstenacker Siefen is protected as a natural monument, the determination is made in accordance with § 22 a, b LG NRW. The mouth of the Siefen in Saalbach lies in the nature reserve of the Gelpe- and Saalbachtal river system . The course of the Siefen lies in the Gelpe nature reserve .
