Otto Friedrich Kredel

Otto Friedrich Kredel (born April 29, 1891 in Cologne ; † May 3, 1974 ) was a Hessian politician ( LDP / FDP ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Otto Kredel attended evening courses after elementary school and technical school and continued his self-study in economic and technical fields. From 1905 to 1914 he was editor of a specialist newspaper. In 1914 he did military service and was seriously wounded. From 1915 he worked in industry in Gdansk , Frankfurt am Main and Berlin . From 1924 he worked as an independent businessman in Frankfurt am Main.

In 1945 Otto Kredel was co-founder of the LDP and district chairman of his party in the Obertaunus district and treasurer of the regional association. From March 27, 1946 (as a replacement for the recalled Fritz Winter ) to July 14, 1946, he was a member of the appointed advisory state committee and was then elected to the state assembly that advises the constitution of Greater Hesse . November 1946 belonged. He then became a member of the Hessian state parliament in the first electoral period from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950. He was vice-president of the state parliament.
