Otto Holtz (politician, 1845)

Otto Holtz-Parlin (born April 27, 1845 in Damitzow , † October 8, 1925 in Berlin ) was a German manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Holtz attended high schools in Greifenberg i. Pom. and Anklam . He became a farmer on his manor in Parlin in the Schwetz district in the province of West Prussia . He was also head of office, landlord, member of the board of the Invalidity Insurance Institute for West Prussia, member of the district council and member of the Chamber of Agriculture for West Prussia. He was also a deputy member of the German Agriculture Council and the Prussian State Economics College. He was also a member of the District Railway Council of the Eastern Railway and a deputy member of the State Railway Council. He took part in the war of 1870/71 as a reserve officer and was holder of the Iron Cross 2nd class .

From 1887 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Marienwerder 5 Schwetz and the German Reich Party . Between 1904 and 1913 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
