Otto Koch (born January 4, 1949 in Groebenzell ) is a German chef . He became more widely known from 1998 onwards as a television chef on the ARD-Buffet show .

Life

After completing his training in Munich, Koch went on a journey through various top restaurants in Switzerland and France for five years , for example in the three-star restaurants “L'Oasis” near Cannes and “Taillevent” in Paris.

In 1974 he opened his own restaurant “Le Gourmet” in Munich, near the then exhibition center in the Theresienhöhe district , which was awarded a Michelin star in 1976. In 1990 he moved his "Le Gourmet" to the Black Forest house in the city center.
