Otto Ottler
Otto Ottler (born November 25, 1891 in Munich ; † December 30, 1965 there ) was a German commercial artist and painter .
Life
Ottler studied at the Munich School of Applied Arts and the Munich Academy of Fine Arts . He was a member of the second group " Die Sechs (artist group) ", which was formed in 1924 with Valentin Zietara , Max Eschle , Franz Paul Glass , Hans Ibe (Johann Baptist Maier) and Tommi Parzinger . Later Ottler joined the New Association of Munich Poster Artists.
On behalf of the Cologne chocolate producer Ludwig Stollwerck, he designed collecting pictures for Stollwerck scrapbooks , etc. a. the series "Fabelwesen" for the Stollwerck scrapbook no. 12 from 1911.
