Otto Rasim
Otto Rasim (born October 8, 1878 in Vienna , † July 1, 1936 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian landscape painter and skier.
Rasim attended the Dachau school and became a student of Hans von Hayek . He then settled in Mühlau near Innsbruck in 1904 .
In 1912 he founded the Künstlerbund Heimat (later Tiroler Künstlerbund) and headed it for 20 years. He was made an honorary member of the Federation.
Rasim was engaged in landscape painting. As an avid skier, he often painted Tyrolean snow landscapes. He took part in the Austrian Ski Championships in 1908 .
Rasim showed his works at the Tyrolean artist exhibitions in Gelsenkirchen and Düsseldorf in 1926/1927, as well as in Innsbruck , Salzburg , Vienna , Eger and Prague .
