Otto Vogel (born January 3, 1838 in Greifswald , † September 14, 1914 in Potsdam ) was a German high school director and writer . Among other things, he wrote works in Low German .

Otto Vogel attended the Greifswald grammar school and the Putbus pedagogy . He studied theology and philology at the University of Greifswald and other universities. He became a teacher at the Greifswald grammar school in 1863 (according to other sources in 1865). In 1876 he became director of the Royal High School in Perleberg . There he was awarded the title of a secret government councilor . In 1912 he retired.
