Otto Wendt (politician, 1889)

Otto Wilhelm Wendt (born February 18, 1889 in Hamburg , † October 14, 1969 there ) was a German politician . From 1949 to 1961 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Wendt worked as a businessman and as a sales representative. From 1928 he was a member of the German National People's Party (DNVP) and from 1933 a member of the armed DNVP organization Stahlhelm . After the Second World War he was a co-founder of the CDU Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein . From 1945 to 1946 he was chairman of the Hamburg regional association. Wendt was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1949 to 1961.

Wendt had been with Elise, born in 1917. Hoehne married. The couple had three children.
