Dietrich-Wilhelm Rollmann (born January 23, 1932 in Berlin ; † January 14, 2008 there ) was a German lawyer, advertising salesman and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Rollmann was born as the son of advertising specialist Dr. rer. pole. Julius Rollmann (1897–1966) born. After attending elementary school and graduating from high school in 1951 at the learned school of the Johanneum in Hamburg , he began studying law at the universities in Hamburg and Marburg , which he completed in 1955 with the first state examination in law. He initially worked as a journalist, then became a partner in an advertising company and later worked as a management consultant. From 1977 to 1992 he was general manager of the Federal Association of Liberal Professions . Until his death he was the owner of Rollmann Kommunikation in Bonn and Berlin.

Political party

During his studies Rollmann joined the RCDS at the University of Marburg in 1952 . Since 1953 he was RCDS chairman at the University of Hamburg .

Rollmann joined the CDU in 1953, at the same time became a member of the Junge Union (JU) and was state chairman of the JU Hamburg from 1956 to 1963. From 1960 to 1965 he was JU federal treasurer. In 1956 he was elected to the regional executive committee of the CDU Hamburg, was chairman of the CDU district association Hamburg-Mitte from 1957 to 1977 and from March 1968 to May 1974 he was regional chairman of the Hamburg Christian Democrats.

MP

Rollmann was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1957 until his resignation on April 14, 1960 . He belonged to the German Bundestag from March 7, 1960, when he replaced the late MP Paul Leverkuehn , until 1976. He was always drawn into parliament via the state list of the CDU Hamburg.
