Otto von Grünrade (Grünrodt) (born September 10, 1545 in Delitzsch ; † April 12 or April 24, 1613 in Heidelberg ) was an Evangelical Reformed church politician .

The son of Wolff Grünrodt and his wife Agnes, b. von Rauchhaupt , studied theology and philosophy in Leipzig and Wittenberg . From 1575 to 1583 he was court master and councilor to Count Johann VI. from Nassau-Dillenburg . Von Grünrade was instrumental in promoting the introduction of the Reformed Confession in the counties of Nassau-Dillenburg and Solms-Braunfels, as well as from 1584 in the Electoral Palatinate , President of the Electoral Palatinate Council of Churches in Heidelberg, 1596 in the Upper Palatinate and 1609 in the County of Hanau-Münzenberg. Von Grünrade was one of "the leading Reformed church politicians of his time". He remained single.
