Otto von der Heyden-Rynsch

Otto Freiherr von der Heyden-Rynsch (born June 29, 1827 in Unna , † December 17, 1912 in Dortmund ) was a German administrative lawyer and Prussian civil servant .

Life

Otto von der Heyden-Rynsch was a son of the manor owner and district judge Bernhard Freiherr von der Heyden-Rynsch in Dortmund and his wife Wilhelmina Rumpf. He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1847 he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . After graduating, he joined the 2nd Guards Regiment on April 1, 1849 as a one-year volunteer on foot . As a second lieutenant, he served in the 1st battalion of the 16th Landwehr Infantry Regiment. After military service, he entered the Prussian civil service and passed the auscultator exam at the Hamm Court of Appeal in May 1850 . Here he became a court referendar in January 1852 and a court assessor in 1854 . He worked at various courts. On January 14, 1860, he was hired by the Dortmund District Office and on March 14, 1860, he was elected District Administrator candidate with 28 out of 29 votes. The final appointment as district administrator of the district Dortmund fell on 21 May 1860. On 13 May 1899 Otto was released at his own request from the civil service. Repeatedly proposed for promotion by District President Arnsberg , he had repeatedly declined for health reasons. Otto von der Heyden-Rynsch had married Paula Bielefeldt, daughter of Dortmund alderman Theodor Bielefeldt and his wife Johanna Elisabeth Mallinckroth on October 22nd, 1859 in Dortmund. He lived in Dortmund until his death. He was the uncle of Kurt von der Heyden-Rynsch , also district administrator of the Dortmund district.
