Robert Klauser

Robert Klauser (born April 6, 1867 in Mönchengladbach ; † July 8, 1951 in Wiesbaden ) was a Prussian civil servant and district administrator in various districts.

Life

Robert Klauser passed his Abitur at the humanistic grammar school in Mönchengladbach in 1885 and did military service. He then studied law and political science from 1887 in Strasbourg, Cologne, Bonn and Leipzig . In 1896 he was reciprocated in the Corps Hansea Bonn . He spent his assessor time with the government in Arnsberg and Marienwerder and with the district administration in Siegen. He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. In 1892/93 he provided the district office in the Wipperfürth district by order . 1902–1910 he was district administrator in the Bersenbrück district , 1910–1919 in the Höchst district and 1920–1928 in the Dortmund district . He moved to Wiesbaden in 1928, where he was an administrative lawyer until 1950.

From 1912 to 1918 Robert Klauser was a member of the Nassau municipal parliament for the Höchst district. Robert Klauser was initially close to the German National Party and later to the DVP . During the time of National Socialism he was a supporter of the Confessing Church .

Robert Klauser was the son of the spinning mill owner Johann Friedrich Klauser (1825–1889) and his wife Laura geb. Funke (1838-1925). He was married to Katharina born Klein (1874–1945). His wife was the daughter of the machinery factory director Ernst Klein (1844–1925) and the headmistress Johanna geb. Heusel (1847-1923).
