Friedrich Hiltrop

Friedrich Wilhelm Thomas Hiltrop (born on April 21, 1761 in Dortmund ; died on April 28, 1833 there ) was a Prussian administrative officer and first district administrator in the Dortmund district .

Life

Friedrich Hiltrop was a son of the 1st  Syndic of the City of Dortmund, Friedrich Wilhelm Hiltrop and his wife Wilhelmine Sophie Hiltrop, née Davidis. After attending a secondary school, Friedrich studied from 1779 to 1782 at the Friedrich-University in Halle law . He then found employment in the city of Dortmund, last until 1803 as the first  Empire Urban Counsel, joined then 1803 as Councilor in Nassau restaurants (there later Regierungsdirektor) before 1809 Councilor, Prefecture of in Ruhr department was. In imitation of the by Hagen changing Konrad von der Leithen Friedrich Hiltrop finally received in 1817 was appointed head of the district Dortmund. He died on duty.

Hiltrop married Susanna Rosina Theodora Wegener on February 2, 1788 in Unna (born May 5, 1746 in Unna; died November 16, 1822), a daughter of the then mayor of Unna.

Friedrich Hiltrop was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle 3rd class from the highest authority .
