Ottorino Assolari
Ottorino Assolari CSF (born January 30, 1946 in Scanzorosciate ) is an Italian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Serrinha in Brazil.
Life
Ottorino Assolari joined the religious order of the Congregation of the Holy Family of Bergamo and was ordained a priest on September 8, 1973 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 21, 2005 as the first bishop of the diocese of Serrinha established on the same date . The bishop of Campo Mourão , Mauro Aparecido dos Santos , ordained him episcopal on November 25 of the same year in the Cathedral of Campo Mourão ; Co- consecrators were Itamar Navildo Vian OFMCap , Archbishop of Feira de Santana , and Ercílio Turco , Bishop of Osasco . The inauguration in the diocese of Serrinha took place on December 18 of the same year. As a motto he chose Christ's Crux in Cordibus Nostris .
