The diocese of Serrinha ( lat. : Dioecesis Serrignensis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Serrinha in the state of Bahia .

history

The diocese Serrinha was on September 21, 2005 by Pope Benedict XVI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Christi mandato obsequentes from cessions of territory by the Archdiocese of Feira de Santana and the Diocese of Paulo Afonso . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Feira de Santana as a suffragan . First Bishop was Ottorino Assolari CSF .
