Otzenberg is a district of the municipality of Alfeld in Middle Franconia .

geography

The desert is a little more than a kilometer northeast of the center of Alfeld and about two and a half kilometers north of the federal motorway 6 ( Nuremberg - Prague ).

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Alfeld with the second municipal edict , which also includes the village of Kursberg and the hamlet of Kauerheim , as well as the deserted Haubmühle , Kirchthalmühle , Rosenmühle , Wetzlasmühle (Schwarzmühle) and Ziegelhütte belonged. In 2017 Otzenberg had nine residents.
