course
The Oued Rheris rises in the east of the High Atlas ; it first flows a few kilometers to the northeast, later to the southeast and turns to the south about 10 km west of Erfoud . Its further course - often parallel to the Oued Ziz - leads through the Tafilalet further south, where it seeps into the Sahara at the latest near the border with Algeria .
