The Overledinger Deichacht is a dyke association based in Westoverledingen .
Association area
The Overledinger Deichacht is responsible for an area east of the Ems in the municipality of Westoverledingen in the district of Leer . This protected area encompasses all plots of land located in the protection of the main dykes up to a height of +5.00 m above sea level including the higher ground elevations within this area.
The main dyke line in the area of responsibility of the Overledinger Deichacht is 17.1 kilometers long. It extends from the general plan kilometer 70.9 on the border of the districts of Leer and Emsland near Papenburg to the general plan kilometer 88.0 on the embankment of the railway line from Rheine to Norddeich Mole, known as the Emsland route , and in this area includes the right Emsdeich and the left Leda dike.
The association area of the Overledinger Deichacht borders in the east on the association area of the Leda-Jümme-Verband and in the south on the association area of the Deichverband Heede-Aschendorf-Papenburg .

Association structure
The association is represented by a committee that is elected by the association members. The committee consists of 14 members and eight representatives. For its part, it elects a board of five members.
