Péter Vincze ( Hungarian Vincze Péter ; born February 16, 1995 in Székesfehérvár ) is a Hungarian ice hockey player who has been under contract with DVTK Jegesmedvék from the Slovakian extra league since 2018 .

Career

Péter Vincze began his career as a hockey player with Alba Volán Székesfehérvár in his hometown. After he was initially used primarily in the junior division, he came in the 2011/12 season to his first appearances in the club's second men's team in the MOL league . From 2013 he was also (and from 2014 mainly) used in the first men's team that plays in the Austrian ice hockey league .

International

For Hungary, Vincze took part in the U18 World Championships 2011 and 2012 in Division I and 2013 in Division II as well as the U20 World Championships in 2013 , 2014 and 2015 . The Hungarian U20 team competed in Division II in 2013 and 2014 and in 2014 made it to the B group of Division I. At the Division IB tournament in 2015, Vincze was named the best player in his team.

In the senior division, Vincze made his debut for Hungary in Division I in 2015 , when the Magyars celebrated their return to the top division six years after relegation. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
