LEDA / PGC 1232966 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb with extensive star formation in the constellation Virgo the north ecliptic , an estimated 255 million light-years from the Milky Way 's center. Together with PGC 38117, it forms an optical pair of galaxies.
In the same area of ​​the sky there is u. a. the galaxy NGC 4116 .
