LEDA / 47640 PGC is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S with active galaxies core in the constellation virgin on the ecliptic , an estimated 303 million light-years of the Milky Way is removed. Presumably it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy trio together with NGC 5208 and ECO 12362 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5209 , NGC 5210 , NGC 5212 , NGC 5239 .
