LEDA / PGC 55516 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble-type SBc in the constellation Serpens north of the ecliptic , which is an estimated 350 million light-years away from the Milky Way . Together with NGC 5955 , it forms an optical pair of galaxies.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 5952 .
